Nobel Prize Museum

A unique tea inspired by Alfred Nobel's cosmopolitan life
Right in the heart of Stockholm's Old Town lies one of Sweden's most symbolic cultural institutions – the Nobel Prize Museum. This is where history, science and innovation meet, and it is also where our collaboration began.
A few years ago, we were approached by Martha Bojassen, store manager at the museum, with an inspiring idea – to create a tea blend that could reflect Alfred Nobel's life, travels and legacy. The result was the exclusive and highly regarded "The Nobel Tea Blend – A Cosmopolitan Blend Inspired by the Life of Alfred Nobel".
A taste journey through the world of Nobel
This tea blend is more than just a drink – it’s a story in a cup. The base is an elegant Chinese Keemun tea from Qimen County in Anhui Province – an area with a history of tea culture dating back to the Qing Dynasty. It is combined with a robust and full-bodied Assam tea from India, known for its malty and powerful notes.
To tie in with Nobel’s international lifestyle, we have refined the flavour with Sicilian bergamot, sweet raspberries and a hint of fresh orange – a harmonious and complex blend with both depth and freshness. Together they create a sophisticated flavour profile that goes particularly well with chocolate, for example – not least the museum’s own Nobel chocolate coins, which are sold in the shop.
Design with symbolism
The specially designed packaging – shaped like a stick of dynamite – is both a tribute to Alfred Nobel’s most famous invention and an elegant design element that arouses curiosity on the store shelf. This design language also runs parallel to the chocolate packaging, creating a strong visual whole.
Served at the Nobel Banquet
The tea attracted attention right from the launch, and during the Nobel Banquet in 2013 it was first officially served – a moment ofabout confirmed the potential of tea and its place in the culinary expression and menu of the Nobel world. Staff from The Tea

To give our customers an insight into this collaboration, we have recorded a short video where we interview Martha Bojassen in the museum shop. She tellsmore about the thoughts behind the collaboration and why this tea is so appreciated by both visitors and staff.
Note: this tea is available exclusively at the Nobel Prize Museum. A taste experience you won't find anywhere else.
We are very proud of this collaboration and look forward to continuing to spread the story of Alfred Nobel – not only through history and science, but also through tea.
